Immerse yourself in the magic of a traditional Scottish Christmas at Greywalls, where our three‑day festive retreat blends indulgence, relaxation, and seasonal cheer.
Nestled on the edge of Muirfield championship golf course, Greywalls overlooks the 9th and 18th greens, with sweeping views across East Lothian and the Firth of Forth—a truly enchanting setting for the holidays.
Your celebration begins on Christmas Eve with Cream Tea by the fire in our cosy library or elegant drawing room. In the evening, enjoy a sparkling reception with live piano music, followed by a candlelit four‑course dinner. Guests returning from midnight mass are greeted with mulled wine and mince pies for a festive touch.
On Christmas Day, wake to a Christmas stocking outside your door and a leisurely breakfast. From 12:30 pm, a Champagne reception ushers in our spectacular Christmas Lunch, after which the afternoon is yours—exchange gifts, explore the estate with our walking maps, or simply relax by the fire. A light evening cold buffet is served for those with an appetite.
Boxing Day begins with a relaxed brunch, followed by a Gin Tasting and traditional Afternoon Tea. In the evening, sip Champagne at our pre‑dinner reception before a three‑course meal at Chez Roux.
On the 27th, enjoy a final full Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell, enriched by the warmth and tradition of a Greywalls Christmas escape.
Terms & Conditions
To secure a room at Greywalls Hotel we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation with the final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31st October 2025. Please note that our cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival, should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation prior this time, you will forfeit the deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay. It is advisable that you cover yourself with travel indemnity.
3 Night Package - From 24th December 2025
Rates quoted are all per room based on 2 guests sharing and are inclusive of all meals and activities within the three-night package outlined above and VAT.
Extra Guests:
Guests aged 8 years and over, sharing a room in an extra bed, will pay half the adult price for that room type. If a child is under 8 years, then no accommodation is charged, but will pay for any meals taken at the hotel.
