Celebrate Hogmanay in true Scottish style with a three‑day New Year escape at Greywalls. Nestled on the edge of the world‑renowned Muirfield championship golf course, our elegant country house hotel offers sweeping views across East Lothian and the Firth of Forth—the perfect setting for a magical New Year celebration.
Arrive on 30 December to a warm Greywalls welcome and ease into the festive spirit with Cream Tea by the fire in our cosy library or drawing room. In the evening, enjoy a Champagne cocktail reception followed by a candlelit three‑course dinner, setting the tone for an indulgent stay.
On Hogmanay, begin the day with a leisurely breakfast and relax at your own pace. A light lunch is served in the afternoon before the evening’s festivities: a Champagne reception leading into our Black‑Tie New Year’s Gala Dinner, with music and dancing to welcome 2026 in style.
New Year’s Day starts with a relaxed brunch and time to unwind—take a scenic walk, curl up by the fire, or enjoy a good book. In the afternoon, join us for Afternoon Tea and a Gin Tasting experience, followed by a three‑course dinner at Chez Roux to conclude your first day of 2026.
On 2 January, enjoy a final full Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell to Greywalls, refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
Terms & Conditions
To secure a room at Greywalls Hotel we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation with the final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31st October 2025. Please note that our cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival, should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation prior this time, you will forfeit the deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay. It is advisable that you cover yourself with travel indemnity.
3 Night Package - from 30th December 2025
Rates quoted are all per room based on 2 guests sharing and are inclusive of all meals and activities within the three-night package outlined above and VAT.
Extra Guests:
Guests aged 8 years and over, sharing a room in an extra bed, will pay half the adult price for that room type. If a child is under 8 years, then no accommodation is charged, but will pay for any meals taken at the hotel.
