Colonel’s House
This light and airy lodge was built in the late 1960s by the Weaver family for Colonel Weaver’s retirement, giving the house its name. Situated just beyond the hotel gates, it offers an extra level of privacy, allowing you to make the most of your luxury cottage stay.
Located just 500 yards from Greywalls, Colonel’s House sleeps up to eight guests, making it ideal for family holidays, golfing getaways, or special occasions. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings while having the privacy of your own space.
The house can also be booked alongside the main hotel, providing additional accommodation for weddings or any extra-special celebration.

Our charmingly decorated house has everything you need for a luxurious cottage stay. The classic drawing room features French windows that open onto a private garden and terrace, perfect for enjoying the warmer weather. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to dine in with friends and family at your leisure.
A small, cosy study offers a quiet spot to curl up with a book, or can be used by the housekeeper to set out a drinks tray before a livelier evening.
Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms are elegantly furnished, each with its own bathroom. Two have private ensuites, while the other two have bathrooms located just outside the rooms. Additionally, two small single rooms are annexed off one of the doubles and share bathroom facilities.
