Greywalls offers the very best of country house accommodation - ideal for a party of 20 or more.
As well as elegant drawing rooms and delightful dining areas
the house has 23 bedrooms each decorated and
furnished individually with antiques. |
The character, comfort and graciousness of the main rooms is reflected
in all the bedrooms. All have en-suite bathrooms and the other luxuries
that one expects of a professionally run family house.
Most rooms enjoy uninterrupted views - to one side, over Muirfield
and the Firth of Forth - to the other side, over the gardens and
the gentle rolling farmland to the Lammermuir Hills, immortalised
in Donizetti's famous opera "Lucia di Lammermoor".
Five of the bedrooms are located within the grounds, four as part
of the gate house lodges and one forming part of the walled gardens
as Lutyens intended.
Four additional bedrooms can be made available at the Colonel's House, a separate dwelling located
200 yards from the main house which has self contained accommodation
for up to eight persons.
